Monk vocation has two unique and exclusive mechanics, such as harmony and serene. 
Both systems can (and will) work simultaneously with [[Monk Stances|monk stances]].

=== Harmony System ===
The harmony system grants monks more versatily in spell usage. 
It works through a builder/spender play style and can accumulate until five stacks of harmony.

Builder Group Spells: 
* adds one stack of harmony
* (if solo): heals health points
* (if on party): heals the party member with lowest health percent around

Spender Group Spells: 
* uses all stacks of harmony to heavily increase their power.
* (if solo): heals health points
* (if on party): heals the party member with lowest health percent around

=== Serene Mode ===
The serene mode is represented by the purple bar below your harmony. 
It is always active, except if you're in a party with more than 6 or more adjacent monsters and a party member is around.

When inactive, it cuts the effect of all [[Monk Stances|monk stances]] in half.
