The Fragment Workshop is a subsystem tired to the gem atelier and the wheel of destiny.
It allows players to recycle unwanted gems and utilize their remains to permanently upgrade the baseline efficiency, attributes, and secondary modifiers of future gem rolls.

Instead of upgrading an individual item, you spend fragments and gold to permanently upgrade the base stats of a specific modifier archetype (resistance, critical damage, capacity, etc)

Required Fragments

Before using the Workshop, you must have specific materials obtained by recycling gems you no longer need on the gem atelier.
Once broken down, these fragments serve as the primary currency for all workshop upgrades:

Lesser Fragment.gif Lesser Fragments: obtained by dismantling lesser gems.
Greater Fragment.gif Greater Fragments: obtained by dismantling regular or greater gems.

Enhanced Mod Grade

Investing heavily into upgrading various modifiers accumulates overall character versatility.

It means that every passive milestone perk you unlock, it amplify the total effectiveness of all currently socketed gems with those bonuses.
