Stances is a system that allows you to choose between different gameplay styles.
Depending on the stance you are, you can switch between different mechanics that might suit you better.
It is possible to:
- Use known spells in different elements
- Switch defensive stats for offensive stats
- Boost your overall regular damage, critical chance and critical damage
Every core vocation (all of them but thief) has its own stances.
