The main functioning of Soul Cores is quite simple:
Every non-boss creature in the world of Unline has a chance to spawn a portal when killed.
This creature must be elite or exalted.
Soul Core Challenge
This challenge has 3 different steps.
1. Once you kill an elite or an exalted creature, it has a chance to spawn a portal.
2. When entering the portal, you will have to solve a quick puzzle:
You'll have to push 2 green gems
on two switches
around the room.
3. Then, the creature you killed will spawn in its soul core form.
When killing it, you'll have the chance of unlocking his core and an item which is used on the soul pit.
(This is an example of how a soul core item looks like, since I couldn't drop it).
