Every player starts the journey with a common pet egg (which is on your store inbox).
A random egg rarity can be bought on Apu Nahasapeemapetilon NPC on Dry Creek for 500k gold.
The chances of obtaining each egg is:
- Common pet egg: 80%
- Uncommon pet egg: 15%
- Rare pet egg: 4.9%
- Very rare pet egg: 0.1%
Legendary pets are only obtainable through essences
Once you have your pet egg, place it on the floor and click (use) on it until it cracks.
Your pet will be revealed.
Shiny Pets
Shiny pets are stronger allies which deals 15% increased damage and 5% increased elemental resistance compared to their counterparts.
These pets have a chance to be tamed through eggs:
- Common Eggs: 0.2% chance
- Uncommon Eggs: 0.3% chance
- Rare Eggs: 0.5% chance
- Very Rare Eggs: 1% chance
You can also buy a pet shinny stone 
through Apu Nahasapeemapetilon NPC on Dry Creek.
It costs 25 bars of gold and you have 1% chance of turning your pet into a shinny pet.
