To start upgrading the wheel, you need to spent promotion points.
Characters starts to gain 1 promotion point per level, starting at level 51.
To unlock and invest points you must start from the center, then you expand it to the borders.
You can freely reset your spent points at any time inside any protection zone area.
Vessels
The Wheel of Destiny is split into four distinct sections, known as Vessels.
Each vessel represents a specific direction of growth and houses unique major upgrades for your vocation:
- Top-Left Vessel: Focuses on utility, specific elemental resistances, and defensive modifiers.
- Top-Right Vessel: Primarily enhances core offensive spells, critical damage, and general damage output.
- Bottom-Left Vessel: Centers around crowd control, sustain, and defensive capabilities.
- Bottom-Right Vessel: Tends to upgrade strategic or high-cooldown ultimate spells and tactical versatility.
Investing heavily into a specific Vessel is required to unlock its most powerful perks and reveal its hidden potential.
Perks
While advancing through the nodes of each Vessel, you can unlock two types of perks:
Dedication Perks: they are passive bonuses that provide consistent enhancements to your character's stats or specific mechanics.
They are always active once unlocked and focus on building overall performance stability.
- Grants flat stat increases (hit points, mana, resistance, etc).
- Enhances damage or reduces the cooldown of specific primary spells.
Revelation Perks: they are major, impactful upgrades located at the outer edges of the Wheel.
They often introduce entirely new gameplay elements or drastically change how a spell works.
- Unlocks powerful high-level spells that are otherwise unusable.
- Provides powerful situational effects, combat passives, or massive mechanical shifts.
Gem Socket Slots
Each of the four Vessels contains a special Gem Socket node tied to the gem atelier.
This system allows you to further customize your character by inserting gems available for your vocation.
They are obtainable through bosses.
To activate a socket and benefit from an equipped gem, you must invest enough points into that specific Vessel's node path.
Once a gem is placed into an unlocked socket, it grants bonus modifiers ranging from generic stat increases to powerful combat perks.
All bonuses depends on the gem quality you're using (Lesser/Regular/Greater), and they are specific to each vessel or vocation.
Playstyle Customization
Since points can be reallocated freely in any Protection Zone, the Wheel allows you to dynamically adapt your character build based on your current goal:
- Hunting (AoE/Sustain): Focus on area-of-effect damage boosts, life/mana leech modifiers, or mobility perks to maximize experience per hour.
- Bossing (Single Target/Burst): Allocate points toward single-target damage amplification, ultimate cooldown reductions, and crucial survivability perks.
- PvP (Utility/Control): Prioritize crowd control reduction, strategic defensive resistances, and utility options to outmaneuver opponents.
